Respected Seniors & My Dear Friends,

At the outset I take this opportunity to thank all of you for acknowledging me and placing me on the revered chair which was occupied by doyens in surgery earlier. I am humbled by this decision. I hope to live up to your expectations.

I am very confident from 2012 will have many Scientific programmes for the benefit of all. I need co-operation, help & guidance from one and all to carry out the activities of the society successfully.

It will be my privilege to accept & implement the advise and suggestions given to me for improving the functioning of the society.

The calendar of Surgical events for 2012 will follow shortly.
